Job DetailsTout de Sweet Pastry Shop located in downtown Bethesda is now seeking an experienced assistant pastry chef to join our team!
We produce a wide range of french pastries, including French macarons, macaron towers, breakfast pastries, entremets, desserts, all occasion cakes, cupcakes, custom cakes/desserts, various candies, choux a la creme, croquembouches...
Baking Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Tempering chocolate and chocolate work, etc.
- Skilled in icing and decorating birthday cakes, baby shower, anniversary cakes, etc.
- Wedding cakes.
- Fondant work, knowledge in creating 3D figurines.
The applicant must be clean, organized, punctual, self-motivated, & able to work at a good pace. Independent, work well with others, able to execute recipes correctly and consistently.
PASSION, DEDICATION, and EAGERNESS to learn technique is imperative. Dedicated to maintaining very high quality standards is a must!
The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in the pastry/baking industry.
This is a full time job.
The position requires to work early mornings, weekends and holidays.
Compensation based on experience.
