Taylor County is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Cook at the Juvenile Detention Center. Qualified applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or G. E. D. Job experience must be a minimum of 1 year in food service, institutional food preparation, with related equipment. Candidates should have a working knowledge of nutrition; prefer applicants with knowledge of National School Lunch/Breakfast requirements.
The work schedule is Thursday-Sunday, 10-hour shifts and Monday-Wednesday off. Criminal history and background investigations will be conducted on all qualified applicants.
