Back of House - Prep Cook

Were hiring an experienced Prep Cook to join the kitchen at our fast-paced downtown sandwich and coffee shop. This is a behind-the-scenes but crucial role, the prep cook is the back bone of the kitchen perfect for someone who loves staying focused, working clean, and keeping the kitchen stocked and running smoothly.

What Youll Do:
Handle daily prep: portioning, batch cooking, restocking
Follow recipes and portion standards with consistency
Maintain organized labeling and storage
Track inventory and communicate needs with the team
Keep a clean, efficient prep space at all times

What Were Looking For:
Previous prep experience requiredyou should be confident with knives, recipes, and kitchen flow. Be prepared to show knife skills at interview
Solid time management and communication skills
Able to work independently and stay organized
Strong understanding of food safety and cleanliness
