**Job Type:** Fulltime-Tuesday-Saturday-11am-7:30pm

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a creative approach to cooking. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met. You will work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with other kitchen staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure that all food is prepared fresh and according to health and safety standards.
- Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment.
- Assist in menu planning and development, offering creative ideas and suggestions.
- Monitor food inventory and waste, making sure to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Adhere to portion control and presentation specifications.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies in the kitchen.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff, as needed.

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role.
- Culinary degree or relevant certifications preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, cuisines, and food safety guidelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
