Brasserie Ten Ten, situated in the heart of downtown, is conveniently located across the street from The St. Julien and other esteemed restaurants on Walnut Street. The establishment offers an exquisite menu that showcases impeccably classic and seasonal French bistro cuisine. The cellar boasts an extensive selection of affordable Burgundy and Rhone Valley wines, complemented by the sommeliers unique by-the-glass offerings. The dining room transports our guests to a traditional French brasserie, adorned with a marble floor and a traditional bar. The outdoor terrace, exuding a Parisian ambiance, is one of the citys most captivating attractions, offering a glimpse of the iconic flatirons.
The Chef de Cuisine at Brasserie Ten Ten is responsible for the overall quality and profitability of the restaurant. They ensure that all personnel and systems function efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction, achieve budgeted profit levels, and maintain employee morale. The Chef de Cuisine collaborates closely with the General Manager and communicates effectively with the Chef/Director of Operations. Additionally, they supervise all back-of-house staff. This position is full-time and compensated with a salary.
Competencies & Qualifications:
- Six or more years of experience in a high-volume or fine dining environment
- Ability to interact positively with supervisors, management, colleagues, patrons, and the public to foster teamwork and maintain a professional and positive demeanor
- Proficiency in producing a high volume of work in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and quality
- Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Ability to compose reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Proficiency in calculating figures and amounts, including proportions and percentages
- Active adherence to food safety procedures
- Capacity to train and motivate team members
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective time management abilities
