Job Details Stephen Starr is set to unveil Borromini, his highly anticipated trattoria in the heart of Rittenhouse Square in late summer 2025. Housed in the historic 13,000-square-foot Alison Building at 1805 Walnut Street, Borromini promises to be a landmark dining destination, featuring a menu crafted by acclaimed New York chef Mark Ladner and Executive Chef Julian Baker. With a design that mirrors the energy of Parc, Borromini will offer an immersive Italian dining experience across two floors, complemented by an expansive sidewalk cafe.
The team is in search of a dynamic Sous Chef who is a passionate leader with a love for Italian cuisine to help craft and execute a menu inspired by the rich flavors and vibrant traditions of Italy. This position offers a comprehensive package including:
- A competitive base salary

Qualified candidates will have:
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience in high volume, fast-paced,culinarily drivenkitchens
- Prior experience training and leading a large hourly culinary team
- Passion for training and development of others
- Attention to details of food quality, preparation, and presentation
- Flexible and adaptive to rapidly changing priorities and work demands
- Strong written and computer skills
