We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a love for food and cooking, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in preparing delicious, high-quality meals for our guests, ensuring that all food is safe, fresh, and beautifully plated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes, eatery standards, and guest dietary requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Ensure timely preparation and presentation of food for service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during food preparation and cooking.
- Assist in inventory management and kitchen supply stock.
- Monitor food freshness, quality, and proper storage.
- Contribute to menu development and suggest new recipes and improvements.
- Help with special events and catering, if applicable.
- Keep kitchen equipment clean and maintained; report any maintenance issues as necessary.
- Follow portion control guidelines and waste management policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cook or relevant culinary role.
- Culinary school diploma or relevant qualifications is a plus.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for cooking and food presentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in food safety and sanitation is preferred.
