Catering Lead

Job Summary

Support cafe operation at corporate HQ to include food preparation/cooking, stocking shelves, rotating products, ordering products, serving, customer service, and sanitation. These TM's could also be used at our commissary if needed.

Job Description

• Experience Required: 6 months to 1 year
• Experience Desired: Food Prep and Food Safety
• Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds

Job Responsibilities

• Serve meals in cafe. This includes food preparation, cooking and providing excellent customer service. Team Member is expected to follow all Giant Eagle defined food safety guidelines
• Order product from internal and external suppliers to support the cafe and headquarter operations
• Stock and rotate products, including checking for code date, for sale in the cafe'. Receive, stock, and maintain inventory for raw materials needed for meals provided
• Maintain and deliver inventory to kitchenette areas on all floors of the building/headquarters.
• Support commissary operation at Fresh Foods Manufacturing when needed
