As we prepare for our grand reopening, were building a strong kitchen team and looking for a skilled Sous Chef to help lead our back-of-house operations.

Position Overview:

Were seeking a dedicated and hands-on Sous Chef to work alongside our Chef De Cuisine in managing the kitchen, executing high-level cooking techniques, and leading our BOH team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, thrives in an organized and structured kitchen, and can mentor line cooks while maintaining efficiency and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring quality, speed, and consistency in execution
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, leading by example and fostering a positive, professional work environment
  • Manage prep, line execution, and overall station organization
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef on menu development, specials, and seasonal changes
  • Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation standards are met
  • Help with ordering, inventory, and cost control to maintain efficiency and reduce waste
  • Step into any station when needed, maintaining a hands-on approach during service
  • Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure smooth service

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef is a must
  • Proficiency in cooking techniques, knife skills, and station management
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-energy environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Understanding of inventory management, ordering, and food cost controls
  • ServSafe manager certification
  • Weekend availability is a must
