We sell in greenmarkets and for wholesale and shipping. The ideal candidate has 3+ years experience working in a production bakery or kitchen. We are looking for someone who has experience with weighing ingredients, using mixers, working with others well, and can follow the process of our baking schedule. We are one block from the Greenpoint G train, and our hours are Monday to Friday, 6-2, no weekend hours at the moment. We speak Spanish and English in the kitchen. The ideal candidate is: -Open to learning new techniques, such as vegan, gluten-free baking and wild fermentation - Punctual, reliable, with good problem solving skills -Ability to weigh, mix and bake products based on recipes and kitchen standards -Attention to detail, thoughtful, organized in your work -Comfortable with working for 8+ hours, standing, lifting up to 50#, packing, portioning etc -Must be eligible to work in the U.S and have a food handlers license -Can move through challenges with positivity, work together as a team when problems arise Pay starts at $21 per hour and depending on experience can be higher.
