Full time line cook

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing delicious meals that meet our high standards of excellence. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to kitchen operations.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Follow food safety protocols and guidelines for proper food handling, storage, and sanitation.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management as necessary.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques is highly desirable.
A passion for culinary arts and a desire to grow within the food industry will be valued.

We offer a simple IRA plan with matching employer contributions. We usually close for breaks a couple times a year so that our staff, and us as owners, can take decent breaks throughout the year.

The position is Wednesday-Sunday, 8am- 3/4pm

The position starts off at 12/hr plus tips. (tips are usually $70-$100 per shift)
