Job Details Mariscos San Pedro is a Mexican seafood restaurant located in Pilsen by the owners of Taqueria Chignon, Obelix, and Le Bouchon. We are looking for an experienced and passionate cook to join our team as well as play a role in our new 14-course Taco Omakase tasting menu. This tasting menu is exciting and unique - taking place in the center of our dining room at our woodfire ovens. Our focus is to deliver a memorable dining experience centered around inventive dishes utilizing the highest quality ingredients treated with technique and precision. Our ideal candidate is detail oriented, goal oriented and driven, with a positive outlook and a desire to learn. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food preparation and cooking areas are clean and sanitized
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Monitor food quality and presentation throughout the cooking process
- Work clean and efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet customer demand
- Assist with kitchen tasks such as dishwashing and cleaning as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow instructions from management
- Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Uphold high standards of professionalism and teamwork at all times.
Compensation: Hourly ($19.00 - $20.00) plus tips
Estimated Weekly Tips: $240
