Job Description




We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food dishes in a timely and consistent manner, while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of your workstation.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, slicing, and marinating according to recipe specifications.

+ Cooking & Plating: Cook food to order, following standardized recipes and portion sizes. Ensure all dishes are served with the highest quality and presentation.

+ Station Maintenance: Maintain an organized and clean workstation throughout the shift, ensuring all equipment and utensils are sanitized.

+ Collaboration: Work closely with other cooks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service. Communicate effectively with waitstaff and kitchen management.

+ Inventory & Stocking: Monitor inventory levels for your station and communicate with kitchen managers to ensure necessary ingredients and supplies are stocked.

+ Quality Control: Ensure food quality, temperature, and presentation meet restaurant standards. Report any equipment malfunctions or concerns to management.

+ Adherence to Health and Safety Regulations: Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications:

+ Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment preferred but not required.

+ Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

+ Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong teamwork and communication skills.

+ Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs)

+ Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.

+ High level of attention to detail and quality control.
