Full-Time Restaurant Crew Member / Cook (Muncie) N Martin Street compensation: Depends on experience employment type: experience level: mid level job title: Restaurant Crew Member / Cook Quick Service - Bubble Tea, Hibachi, Fried Chicken Location: Muncie Pay: Experience based Schedule: Full-time, flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Job Summary Join our vibrant quick-service restaurant specializing in bubble teas, hibachi meals, and crispy fried chicken! We're looking for a reliable, energetic, and motivated crew member who can handle all aspects of restaurant operationsfrom cooking on the hibachi grill to preparing drinks and working the register. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, and your ability to multitask and work as part of a team will be key to your success. Qualifications Skills & Experience Experience in dining services required; hibachi grill cooking preferred ServSafe certified or willing to complete certification within 60 days of hire Familiarity with food service operations, including portion control and sanitation Ability to read and follow recipes and perform basic calculations Strong teamwork and communication skills Customer-focused with a polite and respectful attitude Physical Requirements Able to stand for long periods and work in fluctuating kitchen temperatures Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and carrying heavy items up to 20 feet Must be able to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions Required to wear designated uniform and slip-resistant footwear Must maintain clean, professional appearance and hygiene Key Responsibilities Cooking & Food Prep Prepare and present meals according to approved recipes and menu standards Operate hibachi grill, fryers, and kitchen equipment safely Portion food accurately and consistently to minimize waste Monitor and log food temperatures at least three times daily Cool, store, label, and date leftover items properly Cleanliness & Safety Keep kitchen and prep areas clean, organized, and sanitized Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Report equipment issues, broken tools, or unsafe conditions promptly Ensure kitchen is clean and stocked at end of shift Customer Service & Teamwork Provide friendly and courteous service to all guests Operate POS (point-of-sale) system and handle payments accurately Assist in training new team members Attend required staff meetings and trainings Why Join Us?
