un Cook Needed for Beyond Wonderland Festival Food Vendor (Chicago, IL) image 1 of 8 compensation: $18 - $20/ Hour Chaotic Concessions is seeking a cook who has experience in a high volume setting with fryers and flattop grills to become an integral part of our team at Beyond Wonderland! Accepted candidates will be asked to work at least six hours each day of the festival doing food prep and/or assembly, and cooking/ grilling/ frying food for service. The festival will take place at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island in Chicago from June 7 - 8, 2025 ( ) Responsibilities Range: Food assembly Set up vendor tent prior to service Cook/ Grill/ Fry food for service Help prep food Clean up and breakdown at the end of the event Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Food & beverage experience is a must! Worked on a flattop grill, fryer, and/or burner ranges, especially in an high volume environment? Let's talk. ***A giant plus is experience with concessions, festivals, food trucks, or at sports arenas. Very Useful Personal Abilities: To thrive in a fast-paced environment. To think on your feet. To work with teammates that you just met. To step up into different positions when needed. To feed crowds of hungry festival goers. To keep the good vibes going amongst your teammates. While we are looking for individuals to work a minimum of 6-hour shifts for all the days of the festival (see dates above) & you will more than likely have the opportunity to work more if needed. You will also be able to enjoy the festival while not working, get free food before or after your shift, and other perks. The dress code is casual, but don't wear your outfit, as you will most likely get a little dirty (closed toed shoes are the only must). Pay is based on experience + hours worked and ranges between $18 - $20 per hour. Who Are We? Chaotic Concessions ( ) is a traveling group of festival food vendors out of Atlanta, Georgia with multiple food concepts. We have a very streamlined process to make integrating new staff easy (and cheat sheets for every station!). We've been vending at large music festivals since 2009, so we have tons of experience.
