Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and specifications, ensuring that the food is of high quality and presented in an appealing manner.
Order and manage inventory of food and supplies, ensuring that the kitchen has all necessary ingredients and equipment to prepare and serve dishes in a timely and efficient manner.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures and that their work is up to standard.
Manage kitchen operations during service, including organizing orders, coordinating with servers, and ensuring that food is served hot and on time.
Monitor and control food costs, including waste and portion control, to maintain profitability and minimize expenses.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including regularly cleaning equipment and work surfaces, and ensure that kitchen staff follow proper sanitation procedures.
