Summary of Job Duties: Food Preparation & CookingGrill and prepare menu items to order, following recipes and portion guidelines.
Operate standard kitchen equipment, including grills, fryers, ovens, and slicers.
Prep ingredients such as chopping vegetables, portioning items, and assembling meals as needed.
Service & Customer Interaction
Serve food in a timely and friendly manner, ensuring a clean and organized serving area.
Answer customer questions about menu items and accommodate basic requests.
Sanitation & Safety
Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain personal hygiene practices.
Ensure compliance with sanitation guidelines and workplace safety standards.
Teamwork & Communication
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and service flow.
Take direction from supervisors and assist in other areas as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in food service preferred.
ServSafe certification is beneficial but not required; would be willing to obtain.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
