Position Summary
Aubergine is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Pastry Cook to join our kitchen team full-time. This mid-shift role is essential in supporting daily pastry production and service, with a focus on consistency, creativity, and excellence. Youll work closely with our Aubergine AM and PM teams to prepare components for plated desserts, breads, mignardises, and other pastry offerings for our tasting menu and breakfast menu.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily production of desserts, breads, and pastries for breakfast and dinner service
  • Execute plated desserts during service with precision and speed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and storage areas
  • Prepare mise en place according to recipes and standards
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of all pastry items
  • Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
  • Assist in seasonal menu changes and pastry development
  • Collaborate with the culinary team for special events and private dining experiences
  • Participate in inventory and ordering as needed
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, following proper procedures for handling and storing ingredients.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Duties may include pastry work for our sister properties.
  • Other duties as assigned
Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($21.00 - $24.00) plus tips

Estimated Weekly Tips: $300
