Position Summary:
The Chef de Cuisine will oversee all kitchen operations, ensure the highest quality of food preparation and presentation, and inspire a team of culinary professionals. This is a leadership role requiring creativity, precision, and a deep commitment to hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all kitchen staff, scheduling, and training
- Design and execute seasonal menus that reflect member preferences and current trends
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food prep, service, and inventory control
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times
- Collaborate with F&B management on special events, banquets, and private dining
- Manage food and labor costs to meet budgetary goals
- Foster a team-oriented and professional kitchen environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant or private club
- Culinary degree or formal training preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Deep knowledge of diverse cuisines, seasonal ingredients, and contemporary techniques
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
