Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a Part-Time line cook to join the team at The Lodge by Two Robbers. Our ideal candidate will be efficient, motivated and organized and can work in a fast paced environment. Nights and weekends are a must.
Duties:
- Ensure kitchen equipment and appliances are ready for use.
- Assist the chef by preparing all menu items for the restaurant
- Set up workstations and cook the food according to instructions and recipes.
- Gather food ingredients from the refrigerator or freezer as required
- Adhere by cooking guideline and understands temps and proper cooking techniques
- Aids with ordering of food items with the chef to ensure product is in house
- Ensure food is stored away properly when not in use.
- Has fully comprehension of the menu and is trained on the preparation of all ingredients
- Always maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces and disposal of trash when needed.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
- Time management and has ability to execute food in a timely manner.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
- Help with kitchen closing duties, such as trash removal and organizing Line areas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
- Training from a culinary school is a plus but not required.
- Proven experience as a Line Cook 4 to 5 years
- Possesses a Food handlers License
- Strong organizational skills: ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.

- Shift hours vary based on service day
- Morning shifts
- Evening shifts
- Some Holidays
- Weekdays
- Weekends

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
