Job Details The Red Stache is a cocktail bar that opened in Fall 2023 in HK. It has 40 seats and serves food from 5 pm-12 pm, during the week and 12-12 on the weekends. The food is American with flatbreads, light sharable like pretzels, hummus, and french fries, to entrees like steak frites and roasted salmon. The menu is small so every item needs to be presented and cooked to perfection. We make a lot of item in house like curing salmon, butchering ribeyes and makes sauces. This position has a lot of autonomy and as long as your keeping up with prep, keeping the kitchen and walk-in clean you'll be good to succeed. We also have brunch on the weekend that comprises of a different menu. We are looking to add a cook to the team that can learn fast and know how to move around a kitchen that can work late nights and weekends. Estimated weekly hours 25-35COOKS RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Being knowledgeable of our menu
- Maintain health code standards
- Aware of allergies
- Must be able to work till close and work weekends
- Keeps all kitchen areas clean and organized
- Has a passion for cooking and know how to self manage.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in this cuisine is a plus, but we provide lots of on-the-job training!!!
- Hardworking
- High-volume kitchen experience
- Food handlers certification
- Must be able to work till midnight
- Flexible schedule, working until close
- 1-2 years of cooking experience
- Focused
- Working clean and organized

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift 10- 20lbs if necessary.
- Safely and effectively use all necessary tools and equipment.
- Stand and walk for an eight-hour shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant.
