About the Position:Treetops Resort is seeking skilled and dedicated Line Cooks to join our team. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a flair for culinary, a commitment to food safety standards, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:- Prepare high-quality dishes in line with Treetops Resort's standards.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the resort's Chef de Cuisine.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Manage food inventory and kitchen equipment, reporting any shortages or malfunctions to the Chef de Cuisine.
- Participate in ongoing culinary training and workshops offered by Treetops Resort.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license.
- Proven culinary experience working in a high-volume restaurant.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask.
- A commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
