Job Description

The Morey Organization is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the Banquet/Picnic Chef position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: working back of house (BOH) line positions, managing BOH line staff, ordering, managing inventory, maintaining food quality, cost control and sanitation, assisting with back of house management duties, and working in unison with the front of the house and executive chef of Morey’s Piers to provide a memorable guest experience.

This is a full-time position in Wildwood, NJ. Competitive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other perks. As with most Food & Beverage jobs, there will be nights, weekends and holidays in season BUT we are closed in the winter months, and you will enjoy a generous time off program.

Candidates should possess the following qualities: strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work on independent tasks as well as part of a team; ability to perform extremely well when faced with managing multiple priorities under time constrains; strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task; computer literate and proficient in Microsoft programs; valid driver’s license with a clean record; able to climb stairs and work at varied elevations. Prior hospitality experience and/or food and beverage management experience preferred.
