Job Description

The Trail’s End Bar and Grill is a breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurant located next to The Legacy Golf Club. The Trail’s End Bar and Grill serves guest & members from the golf course, local neighbors, and guests of the resort. We are looking for a professional line cook to enhance our overall food and beverage experience. Our culinary team works together to provide quality cuisines in a fun and professional work environment. Quality products and exceptional customer service is what our team strives for each day. Full time and part time employment options are available.

Essential Functions:

  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Prepare food for service like chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces etc.
  • Prepare and cook menu items within the guidelines of the Chef.
  • Store and stock product according to health and safety standards
  • Proper operation of the dish machine and dish washing techniques to maintain sanitary practices.
  • Clean and sanitize workstations daily.
  • Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations and health safety standards.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.


  • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook.
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices
  • Culinary school diploma a plus


Physical Requirements:

Constant standing, walking, seeing, hearing, talking, smelling. Frequent bending, stooping, and pushing, pulling, lifting 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

Work environment is typical of a restaurant kitchen which involves noise, heat, changes in temperature, kitchen elements, odors, moisture, etc. Refrigerated storage areas may be cold.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent certificate.
  • Current Food Handlers card.
  • Minimum of one year experience working in a professional kitchen.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
