Job Description

Who We Are

We welcome you for a memorable dining experience at one of our signature restaurants. Our menus are fresh, exciting and unlike any other in Madison offering an approachable, authentic spot for everyday or special occasions. Whether you're in the mood for a classic Wisconsin fish fry with beer battered filets, a house-made pasta featuring local, seasonal ingredients or simply a sandwich, we've got a little something for everyone.

The Statehouse is Madison's Place for patrons to find the perfect balance between upscale casual and fine dining. Our waterfront property offers breathtaking shoreline views of beautiful Lake Mendota as well as our luxurious historic property. Customers of both The Statehouse can relax while being attended to by restaurant and bar staff with incredible professionalism. Whether a local Madisonian out for a special occasion or a resort guest looking for a quick bite, we offer something for everyone. We invite our guests to come for an hour or stay for an evening-long celebration. If they're looking for a great environment, incredible food and drinks and a welcoming staff, this is the place!

Located at lake level in The Edgewater's historic Langdon Building, The Boathouse serves authentic Wisconsin favorites like a Chicken BLT on Stella's Spicy Cheese Bread. Customers are invited to try our burger stack (a new favorite!) or the one-pound lobster roll, relax with a Boathouse Cooler and an appetizer, or enjoy a piece of homemade pie with the family, all while sitting directly on beautiful Lake Mendota. In addition to serving Madison locals, The Boathouse also caters to guests of our beautiful 4-Star hotel and is the only restaurant in downtown Madison directly on Lake Mendota. Customers can visit us directly from the lake and tie up their boat on our pier!
