Job Description

Prep Cook positions are available for year round or seasonal full time and part time employement. This positions will assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with all areas of kitchen preparation and management.  Knife skills are mandatory. This job is an opportunity to work in a small kitchen with very high standards. You will learn how to roast, bake, sautee and above all how to work with real fresh ingredients. Nothing in our kitchen is pre-made. We make everything from scratch.

Responsibilities involve:

- Being puntual and reliable

- Can work well with others, take direction, and work as a team.

- The washing, chopping, and storing of vegetables, fruits, greens and herbs.

- Pulling trays from the oven

- Chopping and roasting onions and garlic.

- Peeling vegetables and fruits

- Juicing Lemons Limes and oranges

- Weighing and vacum Sealing 

- Weighing, and measuring ingredients for the Sous Chef

- Labeling and storing all prepped food in their designated containers

- Keeping the refrigerators clean and organized

- Stocking kitchen inventory

- Cleaning the kitchen appliances

- Keeping your station clean while working

- Re-stocking your station before the end of your shift

- Bringing inventory from the warehouse

- Coming to work in clean clothing and keeping your uniform clean while working.

- Specific roles will be assigned in accordance with experience level and speed.
