Prepares, cooks, and serves food to guests in a courteous manner with accuracy and efficiency while maintaining a sanitary work area, adhering to Serve-Safe and Health Department guidelines.
Completes opening and closing procedures, according to checklists and kitchen manager’s instructions.
Maintains food service standards while providing a consistent, quality product in a timely fashion.
Prepares food according to established methods and standards as instructed by the kitchen manager.
Works with a sense of urgency especially during peak service times.
Demonstrates good knowledge about the food being served, recognizes potential health or quality issues, and informs management immediately.
Maintains a stocked, organized, clean and hazard-free workspace to maximize efficiency.
Maintains food stations are sanitized in accordance to regulations and policies set forth by Kitchen Manager.
Follow waste, recycling, and composting procedures in accordance with company environmental policies.
Assists with special event meals for staff and guests.
