Job Description

Our busy over 100 year old private club restaurant is looking for professional Line Cooks. We are seeking individuals who have a passion for food and beverages. Experience in a wide range of cooking with emphasis on contemporary cuisine. The individuals in the food service industry are committed to impeccable food presentation and garnishing, experience in al la cart, lunch, dinner and banquet business. A line cook who enjoys working with the finest ingredients and has freedom to contribute to the menu.

A bonus if you are qualified to bake both breads and desserts.

Overtime available plus significant holiday bonus.  our season runs from May 1st thru end of October

Our executive chef runs a strong team oriented kitchen that is fun yet serious

We provide shared housing that includes all utilities, cable and wifi services


Skills needed

  • Able to work in a high pressured dynamic work environment
  • Good understanding or modern and classical cuisine
  • Able to prepare food at high standard of quality
  • Experience cooking the following techniques of sauteing, grilling, salads, banquets, BBQ and sous vide
  • Experience with local fresh ingredients
  • Banquet and food station experience
  • Work organized and cleanly
  • Able to create dishes and specials working with fresh local ingredients are stressed

Line Cook skills

Recipe Development, knife skills, baking a plus, soup making, seafood, sushi making

2+ years’ cooking and kitchen administration experience

Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more a day

High level of professionalism

Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Excellent verbal communication and organization skills

Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis
