Brand new restaurant is seeking a Chef for this beautiful, high end small restaurant situated in a historic building. Steaks prepared in an infra red broiler will be the main theme, along with seafoods, pastas, etc.. Kitchen has all new equipment. Salary will depend on experience. Temporary housing will be avaliable for transition.1 week paid vacation. Bonus for keeping food and labor cost within the established parameters. Chef must be willing to work with owner to create menu. There will be an extreme focus on presentation of food. We will be open for dinner 4 nights a week and a Sunday brunch. Pub will be opened within a year. Closed on major holidays.The restaurant seats 40, and the pub will seat 20. We are hoping to open in late September or early October. It is our goal to have equal attention given to food, atmosphere, and service. There has been a great deal of buzz about the restaurant, and we are excited to open! Owner has extensive experience in the restaurant world. Our enviroment will be positive, professional, and fun. Experience must include the following- Ability to create high end meals with unique presentations. Must be able to manage crew in a positive, professional manner. Must be able to remain calm under stress. Must have a high standard of cleanliness. Optional experience- experience cooking on an infra red broiler, gardening herbs (we will have a small greenhouse), Wine pairing knowledge. We will respond to all applications. Thank you!
