Station Attendant

JOB PURPOSE:

Provide all backup services to CHI’s wait staff in a positive professional manner.

QUALIFICATIONS: (Include equipment knowledge/use)

  • Must read, write, speak and understand English
  • Fine dining restaurant experience preferred

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Pala Gaming License
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the (RBS) Responsible Beverage training Certification.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Deliver orders to guests seated in CHI
  • Responsible for clearing and resetting tables
  • Responsible for assisting service staff with all food and beverage service
  • Responsible for providing assistance to the guests throughout the meal
  • Perform any scheduled, assigned or delegated duties in order to maintain restaurant cleanliness
  • Perform all opening and closing side work
  • Occasional guest greeting and seating
  • Knowledge of menu and wine list
  • Restock dishes, silverware and glassware
  • Transport soiled dishes, silverware and glassware to the dish cleaning area
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)

  • Constantly standing, walking, hearing, seeing and talking
  • Frequently smelling, tasting, eye/hand coordination and handling
  • Occasionally balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, sitting, holding, wrist motion, reading and stooping; lifting and/or carrying, pushing and/or pulling up to 55 pounds alone

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment
  • Work in a moderate noise level environment
  • Standing, walking on tile, mats, rugs
  • Exposed to various food odors
  • Works in confined areas while working with others
