Banquet Chef

Join our team at The Fez in Hopewell Twp. Aliquippa, PA located 10 minutes north of the Pittburgh Intl. Airport and showcase your culinary skills as a Banquet Chef. at The Fez, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Banquet Chef, you will have the opportunity to create delicious and innovative dishes for a variety of events, from weddings, family celebrations to corporate gatherings. Daily Responsibilities:

• Menu planning for banquet events
• Seasonal menu development
• Broiling, sautéing, grilling, and other cooking techniques
• Portion control and plate presentation
• Managing kitchen operations during events

Required Skills:

• Experience in scratch cooking
• Knowledge of food cost management
• Ability to create sauces from scratch
• Experience purchasing skills and the ability to maintain purchasing and inventory logs. A working knowledge with Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required.
• Excellent orgnization skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in menu engineering
• Proficiency in breakfast and soup making
• Knowledge of off-premise catering

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 comensurate with experience please include salary requirements with your resume
