Daily Responsibilities:

• Menu planning and execution
• Ensuring portion control and food quality
• Demonstrating strong knife skills
• Grilling and fryer operations
• Back of house organization and cleanliness
• Food handling, preparation, and cooking
• Ordering and stocking inventory
• Assisting with catering and baking needs
• Maintaining sanitation and food safety standards
• Merchandising and closing duties

Required Skills:

• Experience in food and beverage management
• ServSafe Certified
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in food preparation and cooking
• Knowledge of catering operations
• Previous experience in baking
• Understanding of inventory management
• Passion for creating delicious dishes

Salary and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $30,000 to $42,000 annually, based on experience. In addition, employees enjoy benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and dining discounts at Barley House Akron.
