Los Angeles Chef Consultant / Account Manager:

This Account management role serves to provide the best in bakery consultation, focused on the customer experience. This role executes sales process with the goal of building a value-added relationship with customers. Another key element of this position provides support to Chefs and operators in the local region. Baking demonstrations, menu development, order guides, and overall operation knowledge will help guide customers to the best solution.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor and attitude.
• Business professional dress code with a well-groomed appearance
• A willingness to help customer through issues that will arise.
• Listening to and analyzing the customers’ need, investigating the problems and providing solutions before and after the sale
•  Finding projects with existing customers
•  Build relationships with customers
•  Regular in person and digital customer visits
•  Align with customer goals
•  Answer questions and help customer service as needed
•  Gather information regarding pricing and policies in order to maintain a competitive edge.
•  Learn from other team members on best practices 
•  Attend Product training and R&D meetings
•  Stay current on bakery trends
• Work with chefs and operators to better understand possible product applications

Qualifications & Traits

• Culinary education degree
• Enjoys helping people and being of service
• 5+ years’ experience in restaurant supervisory/leadership role
• Prior kitchen experience in hotel / resort / foodservice industry
• Proven teamwork
• Projects professional image that inspires trust and confidence
• Enthusiastic and positive energy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Email
