Job Title: Sous Chef Company: Concord Cooperative Market Location: Concord, NH Description: The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast paced, high volume environment with catering experience a must.  Able to do food ordering and overseeing the staff while maintaining high food quality and kitchen sanitation.  Must be able to create menus and work a flexible schedule.       Essential Functions: 1.      Producing large quantities of food in a fast paced kitchen environment 2 .      Ability to create menus 3       Recipe development that conform to "acceptable ingredients" listing 4.      Must have good display/presentation skills 6.      Responsible for food cost control     Additional Duties: 1.      Staff company booth or exhibit at trade and community events 2.      Assist in special projects as assigned 3.      Catering   Skills: 1.      Good customer service skills for both internal and external customers 2.      Strong attention to detail 3.      Good time management skills 4.      Enjoys working with people 5.      Must have excellent interpersonal skills 6.      Willing to work in a cooperative environment 7.      Ability to take direction and work independently 8.      Ability to multi-task and must have good organizational skills 9.      Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments.  Current ServSafe certification a plus!     Physical Requirements:           Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently          Stand for long periods of time, bend, and twist frequently     How to apply:  Stop by the store for an application or download one from our website www.concordfoodcoop.coop .
