Job Title: Chef/cook needed Company: Location: Louisville, KY Description: I'm looking for a chef/cook with experience. This is a unique opportunity. I am adding lunch and dinner service in a nightclub. This is a beautiful place that has a decent kitchen. We already serve some "pub-grub" and pizza, but very little. We need a good menu, and some promotion. I am looking for someone to work for commission only with a minimal $200 a week salary to start until commission covers that. Then commission only. So the $200 is just a guarantee. This would be a percentage of gross food sales to start. Once sales reach a significant number, we would renegotiate. So if you can grow the restaurant side, then your income could be quite large. The menu creation would be largely up to you, but with my approval of course. I do have some ideas that I would like, but all is negotiable.

Experience in the business a must. I need you to help with menu and recipee creation. Start ASAP. I would like to pay you a smaller guaranteed salary against a percentage of food sales for as long as you work for me. So you would start at a lower rate, giving me a break to start. But as soon as food sales take off, your income would be unlimited. I could imagine you making $50,000 a year one day. You would deserve it with your creations and continued attention/ updates to the menu. BUT don't let this idea of mine scare you off. I could pay you the conventional way also. But your fixed salary would be to "pack my house". We would advertise and promote immediately! The Highlands is a great spot for restaurants and my place is large.
