Stonington Harbor Yacht Club is a year round private Yacht Club in Southeast Connecticut seeking a Chef. The Chef reports to the General Manager and directly supervises all kitchen staff; plan and prepare all menus and recipes for the club’s food and beverage operation; and ensure that the wants and needs of members and guests are consistently exceeded.
The Chef is responsible for all a la carte and banquet operations. He/She is responsible for the effective management of departmental budget including food cost. This is a hands-on position.
The Chef will assist in the preparation and implement the annual budget for the food service operation.
